Texas Council of Fly Fishers Fly Fishers International

FFI’s mission is to ensure the legacy of fly fishing for all fish in all waters continues by focusing on conservation, education, and a sense of community.

The Texas Council is the liaison between the national FFI Organization and local members within our region. Our Council oversees and coordinates the efforts of Texas FFI clubs supporting over 1,100 FFI members.

The Council acts to coordinate fly fishing education, events, public outreach efforts, and conservation opportunities among Texas Clubs. Our purpose is to offer assistance and FFI Resources to the local clubs so they can better plan and share their events, or help solve in the event of problems.

Fly Fishers International (FFI) has been an organized voice for fly fishers around the world since 1964. FFI represents all aspects of fly fishing – from the art of fly tying and fly casting to the protection of nature’s systems that support healthy fisheries.
