About the Waco Bass on the Fly Tournament

Date: April 20, 2024, Kick-off @ 6 am, tournament time 7 am – 12:30 pm

Brazos Park East, 3516 N M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Waco, Texas, United States, 76702

Body of Water: Brazos River, Bosque River 

Meet: Boat Ramp Pavillion, West end of the park, 6:00 am for registration.

Species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, White Bass – All fish entered in the tournament must be photographed, measured, and recorded through the FishDonkey app.

Entry fee: $40 

Winners: The highest number of bass caught during the tournament hours. Tournament judges verify the results based on the photos submitted and award the prizes. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

Tournament entrants will meet at the western end of the park, by the pavilion by the boat ramp, at 6 a.m. for registration. At this time, the Tournament Directors will give out general information and tournament rules and clarify any questions about the tournament or the rules.

• Fly Fishing Only.
• Shore, wade, or float. No electric or fuel-powered floats are allowed. Paddle/pole only. 
• Fishing times are 7 am to 12:30 pm.
• All fish entered in the tournament will be photographed, measured, and recorded through the FishDonkey app. How to Enter a Fish
• The entry fee for the tournament will be $40.00.  
• Results from the tournament will be announced at 2:00 pm.
